Jose Centeio Andrade

Jose Centeio Andrade, a beloved father, son, brother, and cherished member of his family, passed away on August 21, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love and memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Jose was born on January 13, 1986, in Fogo, Cabo Verde, to his late father, Jose De Andrade, and his loving mother, Antonia Maria Silva. Throughout his life, Jose carried with him the values of family, hard work, and dedication that shaped the man he became.

Jose spent his working years as a landscaper, a profession that reflected his hardworking nature and allowed him to take pride in the work of his hands. Beyond his work, Jose will be remembered most for the love he shared with his family and those closest to him.

Above all, Jose was a devoted father to his beloved daughter, Adrianna Andrade, who held a very special place in his heart. He leaves behind his loving daughter, Anna; his mother, Antonia Maria Silva; his siblings; and a host of extended family members and loved ones who will miss him dearly.

Jose was preceded in death by his father, Jose De Andrade. Although his time on earth has come to an end, the memories he created, the love he gave, and the impact he had on those around him will continue to live on. May his family find comfort in the moments they shared with him and strength in knowing that his memory will forever be carried in their hearts.

Viewing hours will take place on Sunday, August 30, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at George Lopes Funeral Home, 647 Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301.

A Funeral Mass celebrating Jose’s life will be held on Monday, August 31, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Edith Stein Parish, 71 E Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301.

Following the Funeral Mass, Jose will be laid to rest at Melrose Cemetery.
