Jose Victor Andrade

Jose Victor Andrade passed away peacefully on December 22, 2025, in Brockton, Massachusetts.

He was born on June 1, 1956, in Fogo, Cabo Verde, to the late Socorro Montrond and Emilia Andrade.

Jose was a hardworking and independent man who spent his working life in construction, working for himself and taking pride in honest labor.

He was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and his faith guided the way he lived, treated others, and cared for his family, remaining a constant foundation throughout his life.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Andrade, and his children: Emanuel Andrade, Elias Andrade, Isaias Andrade, and Enoque Andrade, as well as several grandchildren, extended family members, and many friends who loved him deeply and will miss him dearly.

Visitation will be held on January 2, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at George Lopes Funeral Home, located at 647 Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301.

A funeral service will take place on January 3, 2025, at the same location, beginning at 10:00 AM.

Jose will be laid to rest at Melrose Cemetery, located at 88 N. Pearl Street, Brockton, MA 02301.
