Joyce was born on 08/23/1955 in Hollywood, Florida to the parents of Bernestine and Roosevelt Strange Sr. Joyce had three siblings: her younger brother Roosevelt Strange Jr., her sister Melissa Strange and her oldest sister Gloria Strange. Today she reunites with an abundance of family members in heaven, including her sister Gloria, her parents, and her grandmother Beatrice Dudley. Joyce met her life partner Randy Brown when she was sixteen. Joyce and Randy shared countless memories, lifetime goals, and beautiful dreams together, including the birth of their only child, (daughter) Alyssa Faye Strange Coston on 08/14/1972 and the day they said “I do” 02/16/1991. Joyce lived her whole life being dedicated to the Lord. She was always involved in the church and made sure that her whole family got baptized. Joyce’s occupation was being a caretaker. She loved to take care of people as a living. Mrs. Brown was a foster mom to many different children, and even went above and beyond to foster teenagers as well. Joyce put her education first as she went back to school in her fifties to receive her high school diploma and later following with a college degree. Joyce strived hard to do good in life. She would open up her heart and door to any and everyone, literally giving the shirt off her back to someone in need of it. Joyce Brown (68) of Boston, Massachusetts transitioned into eternal peace, and gained her angel wings on July 2, 2024.
Joyce Brown was born on August 23, 1955, to the late Roosevelt and Bernistine Strange in Hollywood, Florida.
Joyce Brown leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband Randy Brown, daughter Alyssa Coston, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
