Julia Perkins

Julia Marie Perkins, 51, of Brockton, passed away unexpectedly on October 8, 2025.

She is predeceased by her loving parents, Hampton and Harriet Perkins, who she missed dearly these last few years, and her niece Karneetha Sanders.

Julia is survived by her daughter Tommara (Chris Sloan), her grandson TJ, her sisters Letitia Perkins-Louis, Lennine (Earl Clagon), and Johnna (Damian Pinner), her many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, and by so many close friends who became family.

Known affectionately as JuJu by those close to her, she was a selfless person who always made sure her daughter, friends, and family were taken care of no matter the circumstances. She loved to travel, from cruises with Tommara, to trips with friends, and exploring Cape Verde.

In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to H.O.P.E. Inc. (hopbe.org), to help support single parents. Julia was a shining example of perseverance, completing school, working her way through college, and providing a great life and foundation for Tommara, her grandson TJ, and future generations.
