Kesnel Joseph Obituary

Kesnel Joseph was born on December 29, 1967 to Pierre Myrtil Joseph and Alourdes Joseph in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. He grew up in a lively home with 7 brothers and sisters. While growing up in Haiti, Kesnel and his twin brother, Pierre, enjoyed a rambunctious and fun-loving childhood. In 1977, Kesnel and his siblings migrated to the United States, eventually settling in Mattapan, MA. Kesnel graduated from Hyde Park High school in 1987. Following graduation, he worked in a correctional half-way house until he began his career in computer technology. His passion for computers led him to start his own small computer business. In 1990, Kesnel forged a friendship with Magdala Bordes, and a relationship quickly blossomed from there. Kesnel and Magdala enjoyed an active life together often gathering with family and close friends. They also travelled the world visiting exotic places such as Thailand, Cuba and Guatemala, just to name a few. In June 2001, Kesnel and Magdala wed. In 2006, they welcomed their first daughter into the world, Kendall Alourdes Joseph. Two years later, they welcomed their second bundle of joy, daughter Logan Immacula Joseph. In addition to being a husband and father to his own children, Kesnel doted on his many nieces and nephews. He played a significant role in their up bringing. He instructed them, disciplined them, and encouraged them to be proud of who they are, especially being Haitian. Together, Kesnel and Magdala were instrumental in shaping the lives of many of his nieces and nephews. Kesnel is survived by his wife Magadala Bordes-Joseph, his daughters Kendall Joseph and Logan Joseph and his mother-in-law, Immacula Bordes. He leaves behind sisters: Jocelyn Herald (Valias), Gerda St. Fort (Michler), Nicole Joseph, Delourdes Joseph (Ralph), Wilel Daniel (Seth), and Marie Marcellus. He leaves behind brothers: Jacques Prudent, Emile Lubin (Agnis), Georges Joseph (Emeline), twin brother Pierre M. Joseph (Wendelyn) and Leslie Marcellus. He also leaves behind a plethora of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
