Kevin Munroe Sr. Obituary

Jay Munroe, a beloved son, father, brother, and grandfather, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and resilience. Raised by Charles and Judith Munroe, Jay was a man who carried the spirit of family in all that he did.

He is preceded in death by his biological parents, John Cooke and Mary Jane Falden, and his grandmother Wilma Ruth Kennedy- Munroe, whose memories he held close to his heart.

Jay is survived by his devoted sisters Stacye and her children Jason, Janell, and Jaznee; Keisha, Ebonee, Nicole, and Kendra and her husband Anthony; and his brothers Craig and Anderson.

He leaves behind his children: Simone, Ke’Arra and her two sons Kayden and KaVaughn, Joshua and his three children Jozjahnae, J’Zahni, and Jos’Zhaun, and his son Kevin Munroe Jr.

Jay’s life was a tapestry of strength and compassion; woven together by the connections he cherished most—his family. His presence, stories, and laughter will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

He is also remembered by a host of cousins and friends who were touched by his kindness, humor, and unwavering love.
