Larisse Vani Gomes Almeida

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Larisse Vani Gomes Almeida, who departed this life on August 9, 2026, in Boston, Massachusetts.

Larisse was born on November 10, 1977, in Santiago, Cabo Verde, to her loving parents, Marceliano S. Almeida and Ana Almeida. Throughout her life, Larisse was surrounded by the love of her family, and she carried that love with her in the relationships she shared with those closest to her. Her presence brought warmth to the lives of many, and the memories created with her will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Above all, Larisse treasured her family. She leaves behind her beloved parents, Marceliano S. Almeida and Ana Almeida, and her loving children, Katia, Vanessa, and Rafael, who will forever carry her love, strength, and memory with them. She also leaves behind a host of cherished family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply and remember her with love.

Though Larisse's time with us has come to an end, the love she shared and the memories she created will continue to live on through her children, her parents, and all whose lives she touched. May those who loved her find comfort in the beautiful moments they shared and strength in knowing that her memory will forever remain a part of them.

Viewing hours will take place on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, beginning at 9:00 AM at George Lopes Funeral Home, located at 647 Main Street, Brockton, Massachusetts. Her Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 AM at St. Edith Stein Parish, located at 71 East Main Street, Brockton, Massachusetts. Following the Mass, Larisse will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery.
