Lawrence Dingle

Mr. Lawrence Edward Dingle, son of the late Lawrence E. Woods and Pearline Dingle was born on May 31, 1972, in Boston, Massachusetts. Lawrence departed his Earthly life on Saturday morning, November 2, 2024, at Boston Medical Center.

Lawrence, affectionately known as “Boomie”, “Bootney” grew up in the Dorchester area of Boston, MA where he attended the Boston public schools during his youth.

Lawrence loved to draw, eat, play games and watch football. Lawrence also loved being around his family and friends. He was a loving father, son, brother, uncle and friend to many who came in his presence.

Lawrence is proceeded in death by his father, Lawrence “Larry” Woods and his grandparents Wesley and Martha Dingle-Dantzler; Thomas and Annie Teal-Woods.

Lawrence leaves behind to cherish fond memories: three sons, Kwaumane Brown, Dashawn Brown and Jaquon Brown all Boston, Ma. His loving mother: Pearline Dingle of Roxbury, MA. Two grandchildren: Cree Brown and Ja’lonee Brown of Boston, MA; Two brothers: Kenneth (Kanesha) Dingle of Cayce, SC and Anthony Woods of Boston, MA. Three sisters: Karen Villaroel of Boston, MA, Gina Johnson-Woods of Brockton, MA and Peggy (Mibsam); Wiggins of Roxbury, MA. Three aunts: Flora Dingle of Roxbury, MA; Barbara Woods of Boston, MA and Jacqueline (Walter) Floyd of Brockton, MA. Three uncles: Thomas Woods, Jr. of Dorchester, MA; Joseph (Linda) Richburg of Columbus, GA and Nathaniel Dantzler of Cross, SC. As well as a Host of nieces and nephews, cousins, relatives and friends who all loved him dearly.
