Lewis Jackson, also known as MyQuan, was born on January 9, 1970, in Boston, Massachusetts. He was one of four children born to the late Edward L. Jackson of Reynolds, GA and Eugenia E. Jackson of La Ceiba, Honduras.
In his childhood years he attended Boston Public Schools. MyQuan displayed an innate skill and calling to the Arts at an early age. He started his career in the entertainment industry as a writer for the New Kids on the Block as MC Ill. MyQuan signed a record deal with Ski/RocABloc/Columbia Records and spent the next few years developing his own sound and lyrical style. MyQuan worked with a variety of artists, including Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch, Jada Kiss, Guru, Bobby Brown, and Boys2Men. Apart from his musical accomplishments, MyQuan persisted in advancing his career in the film industry. His critically acclaimed performance in the 1997 Sundance Film Festival feature “Black, White, & Red All Over” is one of his many noteworthy acting accomplishments. MyQuan further cemented himself as a television producer in such shows as “Kids Say the Darndest Things, Double Dare and Wayne Brady’s Comedy IQ” to name a few.
MyQuan’s talents and love for the arts were profound and will be missed.
We celebrate Lewis “MyQuan” today, for the way he loved and lived his life. MyQuan was exuberant, entertaining, full of jokes and thought-provoking expressions. He was happy and Loved to Love.

A host of great-nieces and great nephews, cousins and extended family members and Friends.
