Lovie Jean Shelton

Lovie Jean Shelton of Millis, MA passed on August 15, 2023.

Born in Jackson, Mississippi to the late Johnnie and Lucille Thomas both of Mississippi.

Lovie married the late Deacon Napoleon Shelton, whom she missed and loved dearly.

Lovie was honored to have five loving and amazing children: Cynthia Shelton Harris and husband Kenyatta Harris, Angel M. Shelton, Naomi L. Shelton, Vanessa R. Shelton and Jazmyn T. Shelton.

Lovie was a great sister, she was one of ten siblings her surviving siblings are: Bertha Thomas, Otis Thomas, Howard Thomas, and Linda Frazier.

Predeceased siblings: Mary Houston, Booker T. Thomas, Lee Arthur Thomas, Daisy Thomas, and David Earl Thomas.

Lovie was blessed to have nine grandchildren: Jerome Shelton, Jennae Beatrice, Salamarie Frazier, Sarah Shelton, Charles Frazier, Zakai Shelton, Kenyatta P. Harris, Ashleigh Harris, Pryce N. Fleury Shelton.

Six great grandchildren: Kelilah, Semira, Azriel, Zahara, Tirzah, Azariah.

Lovie will be missed by her family and all who have known her.
