Luis A. Quintero Vazquez, 68, a resident of Brockton, MA, passed away peacefully at Brockton Hospital on Monday, October 4, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. Son of both the late Juan Vazquez and Emilia Quintero, he was born and raised in Corozal, Puerto Rico. He worked in the food industry from the early 1990s and retired in 2009. Luis enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. Luis also enjoyed working on cars, fixing things around the house, taking walks around DW Field Park, and listening to all types of music, especially Spanish music. He loved watching action movies and sports, especially boxing events. He was well known for his famous holiday Spanish drink called Coquito.
He was the devoted and loving husband of Luisa D. Vazquez for 2 years. Luis was survived by his children, Nicoline Batista, Edson Batista, Luis Vazquez, and Angel Vazquez. He was also survived by the mother of two of his two children, Estela Gomes, for 28 years. He was the grandfather of Everlee Jones, Edson Batista, Jr., and Milleina A. Vazquez.
Additionally, Luis was the father of the late Luis A. Vazquez, Jr., and surviving children Samuel Vazquez, Grisel Vazquez, Joel Vazquez, and Katherine Vazquez who all reside in Puerto Rico.
