Luzia Gomes (70) of Brockton, Massachusetts passed away on September 15, 2024.

Luzia Gomes was born to the late Oliviero Veiga and Leontina Gomes on January 6, 1954, in Fogo, Cabo Verde.

Luzia spent her working days as a home maker filling her home with love.

Luzia leaves behind to cherish her memories, her loving children Jose, Edna, Jacqueline, Carlos, Elisangela, and Nelson, along with a host of many other loving relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

Visitation services will take place on Sunday, September 22, 2024, from 4:00PM-7:00PM located at George Lopes Funeral Home, 647 Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301.

The Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, September 23, 2024, beginning at 10AM located at Saint Edith Stein Parish, 71 East Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301.

Following the Mass will be Interment at Melrose Cemetery located on 88 North Pearl Street, Brockton, MA 02301.
