It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Malik David Devault who left us at the tender age of 27. He was born on March 14th, 1997, at 6:21pm in Framingham, Massachusetts to Lucinda Nuahn and Joshua Devault. He is survived by his daughter Adeline, Mother; Lucinda Sheard, father; Maurice Sheard, 3 siblings; Mary Sheard, Iyanna Sheard and Maurice Sheard Jr, His grandmother “Big Mom” Mary Nuahn, his uncle Zeatuo “ZT” Lyon, Aunt Kurdea Lyon and nephew Zekai Sheard
Malik was known for his charismatic personality and handsome smile. He loved animals and his dog “Lady” will greatly miss him. He attended St. Tarcisius School in Framingham Mass and graduated from Brighton High School. He was a natural chef and worked at 5-star restaurants such as Earls Steakhouse. He had dreams of opening up a food truck with a multicultural menu with Liberian, Thai and Filipino food. He was also an aspiring tattoo artist as he was very artistic. His love for art led to him volunteering at Arts for humanity in high school where he became very passionate for the arts.
He loved his friends and acquired his lifelong friends at different stages of his life. In elementary school he gained his brothers, Kenny and Aaron, & Joshua. In high school, he gained his right-hand brother Dylan.
Malik’s gentle spirit will be deeply missed but his memory and legacy will continue to live on.
The wake will be held on December 13, 2004, between 5pm to 8pm. A homegoing for Malik will be held at the George Lopes Funeral Home in Brockton MA on December 14, 2024, at 9am.
