Marcelina Pina Mendes

Marcelina Pina Mendes, a beloved partner, mother, and grandmother passed away peacefully on September 5, 2025.

Born on December 28, 1954, in Fogo, Cabo Verde to the late Vital Depina and Aida Montrond.

Marcelina was a kind loving soul who cherished her family above all else. She leaves behind her long-term partner, Henrique Andrade, who will cherish the memories they made together. Her love and warmth will be deeply missed by her son, Jonathan Mendes, and loving grandchildren; Lydia Mendes, Christopher Mendes, Jonathan Mendes, Jahzire Mendes, and Kailani Mendes.

She was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Mendes, and her parents. Marcelina's memory will be forever treasured by her surviving siblings, nieces, nephews, and many other loving relatives and friends who were touched by her gentle spirit and generous heart.
