Margie (Avant) Jackson

Margie Jackson born to the late Herbert and Averlene Avant on January 29, 1944 in Fayetteville, North Carolina has unexpectedly passed on June 30, 2022 in Brockton, MA where she was a long-time resident.  Margie loved to extend her care and love to all those around her, leaving her southern hospitality known, respected and remembered by all that have encountered her.

Margie leaves behind her 3 children: Lynette Jackson, Antryn Avant and Tyrone Jackson. 5 grandchildren; Khadijah Boone, Tyron Coney, Tyler Coney, Courtney Richardson, Jamal Shephard. As well as with 3 great grandchildren, her siblings; Voncille Avant, and Hebert Avant Jr.  Along with all of her previous foster children, nieces and nephews and a host of many other loving relatives and friends. Margie is preceded by her grandchild, Lynette Coney, and sister Dorothy Gaddy.

A Memorial service will be held at the George Lopes Funeral Home 647 Main Street Brockton, MA 02301 on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 from 11:00- 1:00pm.
