Maria Monteiro (89) of Brockton, Massachusetts passed away on September 16, 2024.

Maria Monteiro was born to the late Cesar Monteiro and Amelia Goncalves on February 7, 1935, in Fogo, Cabo Verde.

Maria spent her working days as a home maker filling her home with love.

Maria leaves behind to cherish her memories, her loving children Cesar Goncalves, Ana Goncalves, Maria Goncalves, and Joao Goncalves, 20 Grandchildren, 42 Great-Grandchildren, 7 Great-Great-Grandchildren, along with a host of many other loving relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

Visitation services will take place on Monday, September 23, 2024, from 4:00PM-7:00PM located at George Lopes Funeral Home, 647 Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301.

The Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, beginning at 10AM located at George Lopes Funeral Home, 647 Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301.

Following the Funeral Service will be Interment at Melrose Cemetery located on 88 North Pearl Street, Brockton, MA 02301.
