Maria Semedo

Maria Semedo passed away surrounded by her family on June 7, 2022. She was born to Vicencia Rosa DosReis & Antonio Gomes Varlia on May 30, 1928 in Praia, Cabo Verde. Beloved wife of the late Manuel Semedo. She is survived by her children: Augosto Tavares (Gugu), Isabel Semedo (Lindinha), Matilda Semedo (Thilinha), Antonio Semedo (Tony), Maria Semedo (Linda), Jose Semedo (Didi), Margarida Tavares (Edalina), Maria Semedo-Andrade (Juvina). She is also survived by 43 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, & a loving host of extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her children: Linete Tavares, Augosta Tavares, Elias Tavares and Maria Almerinda Semedo.
