With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Marie Precieuse Jean of Brockton, Massachusetts, who peacefully departed this life on October 11, 2026, at the age of 85. Though her passing leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who loved her, her beautiful spirit, unwavering love, and cherished memories will forever remain in the hearts of her family and all who were blessed to know her.
Marie was born on September 12, 1941, in Cayes, Haiti, to her beloved mother, Marie Precior Constant. Born into a rich heritage of love, family, and tradition, Marie carried these values throughout her life. She was a woman whose greatest joy came not from material possessions or worldly accomplishments, but from the love she gave, the family she nurtured, and the home she made a place of comfort, warmth, and belonging.
Marie dedicated her life to being a homemaker, embracing the beautiful and meaningful responsibility of caring for her family. Her home was more than a place to gather; it was a place where love was shared, bonds were strengthened, and memories were made. Through her daily acts of kindness, her caring presence, and her devotion to those she loved, she created a lasting legacy that extended far beyond her home. Her life was a testament to the quiet strength of a woman who understood that the greatest gift one can give is love freely offered and faithfully sustained.
As a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Marie held a special place in the hearts of her family. She was a source of comfort, wisdom, and encouragement, and her love was a blessing that touched generations. Her presence brought reassurance, and her devotion to her loved ones reflected the depth of her heart. The lessons she taught, the sacrifices she made, and the memories she created will continue to guide and inspire her family for years to come.
Marie leaves behind a loving family to cherish her memory and carry forward her legacy. She is survived by her children, Patrick Jean, Mario Jean, Sandra Jean, and Marie Rose Andre Constant; her 13 grandchildren; and her 6 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind a host of beloved relatives and dear friends whose lives were enriched by her kindness, generosity, and love.
Although the family mourns the loss of a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished loved one, they can find comfort in knowing that the love Marie shared will never be lost. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched, the family she nurtured, and the generations who will continue to honor her memory. While words cannot fully express the sorrow of saying goodbye, they can never diminish the gratitude for having shared in her life.
Today, we remember Marie not only for the years she lived, but for the love she gave, the sacrifices she made, and the beautiful family she leaves behind. Though she is no longer physically present, her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who love her. Her memory will be treasured, her life celebrated, and her love carried forward from one generation to the next.
Rest peacefully, Marie Precieuse Jean. May you find eternal rest and everlasting peace. Your earthly journey has ended, but your love will never fade. You will be deeply missed, forever loved, and lovingly remembered until the day we meet again.
