Marie Tavares leaves behind her loving children, Richard Miranda, Carmen Miranda, Wayne Miranda, and Stacie Gunderway, along with nine grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, twenty siblings and a host of many other relatives and friends.

Marie Tavares is preceded by her daughter, Lisa Miranda.

Services for Marie V. Tavares will be held, Saturday, August 19, 2023, located at the George Lopes Funeral Home, 647 Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301 with visitation beginning at 10:00-11:00AM. Following the visitation will be the funeral service to begin at 11:00AM. Proceeding the services will be private disposition to St. Michael's crematory.
