Mark was born in Boston, Massachusetts to his parents Veronica Forde (Phillips) and Lisle A. Phillips on November 17, 1982. He was a precocious child from birth, who could repair anything that was broken. At age three he fixed a typewriter and a lock on a door at his mother’s workplace.
Mark was a wonderful big brother to Gregory (deceased) and a doting uncle to his niece Tatyana.
Mark was very outgoing and would speak with everyone he met - with a genuine concern for their well-being. He saw everyone as a ‘person’ and interacted with them as such, regardless of abilities or challenges.
Mark was educated in the Brookline school system followed by Job Corp.
At the time of his passing Mark was employed as an associate in the Design Center at Home Depot.
Mark took up fishing as a hobby about one year ago. Every day after work and on weekends he would go fishing. Through this past-time he made even more friends in our neighborhood as people would ask him about his catch of the day.
Mark will be sorely missed by his family: the Forde, Phillips, Alleyne, Crichlow, Clarke, Glasgow, Goodman, Hughes, Parris, and Massiah along with his many friends and all those persons with whom he’s had contact.
Mark has left us too soon, but he will never be forgotten. He will always live on in our hearts.
