Mary Morris, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2026.
Her passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
Mary was born on January 6, 1944, in Jackson, Alabama, to the late Willie Wiley and Maryetta Wiley. She later made her home in Brockton, Massachusetts, where she built a beautiful life centered around family, love, hard work, and devotion to those closest to her.
Mary was united in marriage to her beloved husband, Tommy Morris Sr., with whom she shared many years of love, memories, and family. She was a dedicated and hardworking woman who took great pride in her career as a manager at Stop & Shop. Her strong work ethic, caring spirit, and ability to connect with others made an impression on everyone she encountered.
Above all, Mary treasured her family. She was a devoted mother whose love and guidance helped shape the lives of her children. She was also a proud grandmother and great-grandmother who cherished the special bond she shared with each generation of her family.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Maryetta Wiley, and her beloved son, Alexander Morris.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her devoted husband, Tommy Morris; her three children, Edward Morris, Felicia Morris, and Tommy Morris Jr.; ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives, friends, and loved ones who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
Mary will be remembered for the love she gave, the lives she touched, and the memories she created with the people who mattered most to her. Though she is no longer with us, her love will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, and friends.
May her memory be eternal, and may she rest peacefully.
