Monique Allen

Monique Allen, beloved mother, daughter, sister, fiancée, and family member, passed away at the age of 40.

Monique Allen was born on November 24,1985 to Seymour and Maxine Allen.

Monique grew up in Dorchester, Massachusetts, and was christened and baptized at St. Luke A.M.E. Zion Church, a place that remained close to her heart throughout her life.

Monique will be remembered for her strength, her love for her family, and her deep devotion to her children. Being a mother was central to who she was, and she took great pride in caring for and supporting those she loved.

Monique was dedicated to her work with Boston Public Schools, where she served her community and made a positive impact on students and colleagues alike.

Monique Allen is survived by her loving mother, Maxine Allen, her daughter, Samara Miller, age 20; her son, Nasir Green, age 17; her fiancé, Jose Dones; and her siblings: Wayne Glenn, Andy Allen, Marlena Allen, and Shalena Edwards (Natice). She is also survived by many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her father, Seymour Allen. Monique’s memory will live on through the lives she touched, the love she gave so freely, and the legacy she leaves with her family and

community. She will be forever remembered and deeply missed.
