It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Nilton S. Miranda, who left this world peacefully on October 23, 2025, at the age of 30.
Born in Luanda, Angola, on July 14, 1995, Nilton was the beloved son of Antonio Demiranda and Teresa A. Silva, who survive him.
Nilton’s journey took him from the vibrant streets of Luanda to the heart of Massachusetts, where he built a meaningful life surrounded by family, friends, and community. He was known for his quiet strength, kind heart, and unwavering dedication to those he loved.
Nilton spent his working days as a clerk at Logan Airport, where his warm smile and helpful nature brightened the days of travelers and coworkers alike.
To those who knew him best, Nilton will always be remembered for his generosity, his sense of humor, and the deep love he held for his family.
He leaves behind his devoted parents, Antonio and Teresa, along with siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of dear friends and loved ones who will miss him beyond measure.
A wake service in Nilton’s honor will be held on Monday, November 17, 2025, at George Lopes Funeral Home, 647 Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301.
A funeral service will follow the next day, Tuesday, November 18, 2025, beginning at 9:00 a.m., at the same location.
Interment will take place immediately afterward at Melrose Cemetery, 88 N Pearl Street, Brockton, MA 02301.
Nilton’s life, though far too short, was filled with love, laughter, and kindness that touched everyone he met. His spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
