Odean Higginbottom

Odean Higginbottom (93) of Boston, MA peacefully passed, surrounded by her loving family on September 5, 2023.

Odean Higginbottom was born on April 20, 1930, in Empire, Alabama to the late Layton and Gracie Pendleton.

Mrs. Odean. Higginbottom was the devoted mother to, Lorene Turner, Lois James, David Higginbottom Sr., Rosa Hubert, Joseph Higginbottom Jr., Freddie Higginbottom, Ronnie Higginbottom, Diane Hardy, Grady Higginbottom, and Michael Higginbottom.

She leaves behind her loving children, thirty-nine grandchildren along with a host of many other loving relatives and friends. 

Odean Higginbottom is predeceased by her late husband, Joe W. Higginbottom, parents and son, Daniel Higginbottom.

Visitation for Odean Higginbottom will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2023, with a starting time of 10:00AM located at Kingdom Builders Church, 301 Columbia Road, Dorchester, MA 02124.

The funeral service will begin at 11:00AM on Thursday, September 14, 2023, following the visitation. Proceeding from the services will be interment to Mt. Hope Cemetery in Boston, MA.
