Phyllis Frances Teal was the beloved daughter born to Joseph and Thelma Teal in Boston, Massachusetts on December 4, 1958. She passed peacefully on Saturday, May 2, 2026 surrounded by her family.
She was newly married to Marc Connolly in August 2024. They shared a love for adventure and good food!
Phyllis spent her life making a positive impact on those around her and was known for her generous spirit, positive attitude and tireless commitment to family, friends and church.
Phyllis had a successful real estate career; eventually opening her own real estate agency. During the course of her career she thrived in her profession and earned the respect of clients and colleagues alike. She later transitioned to the United States Postal Service where she recently retired. Phyllis embodied the true essence of service and giving; actively volunteering her time and resources to various local initiatives, Dress to Success, the Annual Coat Drive, and financial workshops to help women navigate their way during divorce.
Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents, Thelma and Joseph Teal, her brother William Teal, her grandmother Clara Whitfield and her grandaunt Rebecca Jones.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband Marc Connolly, her brother Joseph (Evelyn) Teal and sisters: Barbara Teal, Marian Teal, Diane Teal-Ramos, (Charles) Janet Teal, nieces, nephews and a host of godchildren.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness and unforgettable memories.
Phyllis was an angel that completed her mission on earth. Her vibrant spirit and kindness will live on in our hearts forever!
