Renee Sandefer

Renee V. Sandefer of Boston, Massachusetts passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 12, 2026.

Rennee V. Sandefer was born on August 7, 1955, to Doris and Bruce Hands in Boston, she was one of 6 children.

Renee V. Sandefer is predeceased by husband Gregory Sandefer, her siblings Leon Hands, Brian Hands, Michael Hands, Gary Hands and Bridgette Hands. 

Renee graduated from Boston Girls High School in 1972. She began her career with the Massachusetts Department of Transportation in 1985, where she stayed until her retirement in 2021. In 1988 Renee married her high school sweetheart Gregory Sandefer raising their children and purchasing a home until her homecoming.

Renee V. Sandefer is survived by her two daughters Chocorua Sandefer and Veronique Sandefer, several nieces, nephews, brother's and Sister's in-laws and lifelong friends. 

Renee's witty charm and gregarious personality will live in our memories forever. She will be missed dearly.
