Rodger Dean Middleton

Rodger Dean Middleton, 55 of Brockton. Beloved Husband, Dad, and Papa. A devoted son, brother, cousin, uncle, and friend. Rodger left us on January 2, 2021. Born and raised in Boston, MA. He was the devoted son of the late Jeff and Ella Mae (Warren) Middleton. Rodger graduated from Hyde Park High School, Hyde Park, MA. After graduating, he worked for Boston Housing Authority and decided to further his career at Harvard Medical School (Harvard Center for Comparative Medicine) for 31 years.

During his tenure at Harvard, he attended school part-time (nights) and graduated from New England Hair Academy. While working at Harvard Medical School, Rodger met his loving wife Debbie, and they were blessed with three beautiful children and four amazing grandchildren. In Rodger’s spare time he enjoyed watching sports and was quite fanatical about it. Most of all, he loved working on new projects within the family home or wherever he was needed, but his least favorite was working on and maintaining the pool. He always joked how he kept up his youthful physique, by carrying Debbie’s shopping bags. And his most favorite time of the day was nap time with his grandchildren.

Rodger is survived by his devoted wife of 17yrs, Debbie (Hart) Middleton, his beloved children Amanda, Kiana, Aaron, Rodger Jr., Keisha, Maurice, and Leroy. His grandchildren, Daniel, Aniylah, Lyneri, Myleni. as well as leaving cherished memories with his siblings, uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, a host of friends, and life-long friends from Harvard Medical School.
