Roger L. White, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, was born on January 10, 1953, and departed this life on November 6, 2025. Roger was a man of strength, wisdom, and heart — someone who brought light and laughter wherever he went.
He was a longtime MBTA employee, known for his hard work, dedication, and kindness to everyone he encountered. Outside of work, Roger had a passion for drag racing and loved the thrill of fast cars and the joy it brought him and those around him.
He was a devoted father and a proud grandfather who cherished his family deeply. His presence brought warmth, his advice brought guidance, and his love brought peace. Roger’s faith and resilience inspired everyone who knew him.
He leaves behind his three loving daughters — Dawn Frederick, Teyon, and Lakisha Cannon — who were his pride, his comfort, and his greatest legacy. He also leaves to cherish his memory his loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, and friends who will forever hold him close in their hearts.
Roger was preceded in death by his siblings Sidney, Heyward, Willie Jo, Albert, and Brenda White. He is survived by his siblings Marilyn, Rudolph, Julia, Evelyn, and James White, who will continue to honor his life and memory with love and devotion.
Roger is also survived by his cherished grandchildren: Granddaughters: Tatyana, Danasia, and Isyss Grandsons: Javonte, Treyvon, Tishaun, Tyreque, Taizhon, and De’Shon
His grandchildren were his pride and joy, each one holding a special place in his heart.
