Sallie Gunn Obituary

Sallie Bell Gunn (Haynes) was born September 30, 1945, in Shellman, GA to the late Arthur and Uzeria Haynes. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter Crystal Gunn, her sisters, Zeria Mae, Ella Mae and her brother Willie C. Haynes. Leaving behind 2 brothers John Haynes (Jacklyn) an Eddie Haynes of Boston, MA.

Sallie graduated from Munroe High School in Coco, FL where she then attended a secondary school for a medical certificate and made her living in Health Care.

Sallie was the life of the party. She loved to laugh and make others laugh. Sallie loved to cook and feed everyone; she had all the family recipes from the elders.

Sallie was a pillar in the community for outstanding and dedicated service to Sickle Cell awareness and education.

Sallie left Coco, FL and moved to Boston where she met and later married Romack Gunn. Unto this union 3 children were born. Sallie leaves behind 3 children, Darron Gunn (Jo-Anne), Shawn Gunn (Common-deceased), and Angel Gunn (Charlie), Her 4 grandchildren, Shawnqua, Aniylah, King and Nova and 3 great grandchildren.

She also left behind a host of nieces and nephew whom she loved dearly.

Sallie was preceded by her life partner, Benjamin Rogers
