Shannon Michelle Dee Jenkins (46) of Boston, Massachusetts passed away on May 27, 2026.
Shannon Michelle Dee Jenkins was born on June 16,1979 in Boston, Massachusetts, to the late Yvonne Jenkins and Johnny James.
Shannon attended Eliot School, Lewis Middle School and graduated at Cambridge Ridge High School to further her career at Bunker Community College, in Charlestown, Massachusetts.
Shannon was a passionate worker providing care and service for at risk youth and adults. She worked for various agencies and for many years she worked at the department of youth health services and community for people.
Shannon was a loving mother figure, sister, auntie and friends. She gave of herself freely; she found joy by helping others. Her life reminded us that true greatness isn’t measured by what she accommodated by what she gave it about loyalty to her.
Shannon spent her whole life giving to others especially to her nephews and nieces she gave her ALL she showed for birthdays, Christmas, graduation, easter, hard days and good days.
Shannon was the first to cheer them first to call, she was their protector their Hype Auntie and their Safe Place.
Shannon Was Like Sweet and Honey to her brothers and Sisters, she was a ride and die to the fullest, loyal and true and mean it.
Shannon was the one who called just to check on you. If you needed her, she’s pulling up. Family was her foundation that meant the world to her. She stood on family business like her Auntie Lisa, no matter what was happening to her family and all her cousins, extended family members she stood tall and proud with NO HESITATION AND HER OPINION…
Shannon Michelle Dee Jenkins is now at rest in God’s arms, she leaves behind a legacy of faith, love she cherish.
Shannon proceed in death were her parents, Yvonne Jenkins and Johnny James, Baby brother Willie Bennett Jr, (Grandparents) Ordelia Eve Jenkins, Frank Jenkins (Uncles)Frank Jenkins Jr,
Michael Jenkins and Howard Jenkins (Aunts) LaVerne Jenkins, Diana Jenkins, Stacey Jenkins and Loria Smith (Great Aunts) Nancy Edmonson, Charlotte Edmonson (Great Uncles) George Edmonson, Walter Edmonson, James (Jim)Edmonson and Cousin Stephen Jenkins with other family members.
Shannon leaves behind her Older Brother Craig Jenkins, Wife Chrishanda, Suffolk, Virginia Whitney Bennett of Boston Extended brother of sisters of Boston (Nephews) Craig Moore Jenkins, Makhi Mattocks of Boston, Clayson Legend Stephen Jenkins, Christian William of Suffolk, Virginia (Nieces)Avonna “Joy” Mattock of Boston Kennedy Leah Jenkins of North Carolina, Yterniti Williams of Suffolk, Virginia. Shannon leaves her two surviving Aunts Janice Jenkins, and Lisa Smith-Cameron (Husband) LeVerne (Lee)Cameron of Boston, Massachusetts.

God Parents Joseph (Joe)Scott and the late Lil Elise Hill.
Shannon also leaves to cherish many great nephew, nieces, all cousins from Boston & New York, Atlanta, Ga and godchildren, friends who she loved and cherish her everlasting memories.
