Sharon Duarte-White Obituary

Sharon L. Duarte -White was born on January 2, 1962, in Brockton, Massachusetts, to Fred Bester and the late, beloved Charlene Duarte McGee Medina. She graduated from Brockton High School and pursued a path of true Human Service. She worked for many years for Shaw’s Supermarket and in Medical Administration for Goddard Hospital.

Sharon lived her life loving and caring deeply for others; she was a compassionate, humble servant of the Lord. As a dedicated member of The Lighthouse Of Faith In Christ Jesus in Brockton, Sharon shared her beautiful voice in the church’s Voices Of Faith choir ministry. Sharon was also a dynamic Sunday School Teacher, Youth Leader, and jubilant choir member at the Baptist Church of All Nations in Taunton. She loved attending church and was a genuine woman of God!

As a creative artist, Sharon also enjoyed arts and crafts. She placed her special touch on exquisite, floral table centerpieces for special events. She enjoyed innovative decorating in her home; and she was so gracious in lending warm, congenial support for many High Teas at The Lighthouse, celebrating her rich heritage!

Sharon is also preceded by her late, dear stepfather Sam McGee. She leaves to mourn her stepfather, Enrique Medina; her husband, Howard White; her siblings Wayne "Skip" Wesley McGee (Christine McGee), John "Jay" Joseph McGee (Carlo Caramanna), and Victoria Ann Medina; her aunts Priscilla "Pat" Gomes and Rev. Dayan Duarte Johnson; and, her nieces and nephews Michaela McGee, Jason McGee, Kyle McGee, Nicole Medina, Natalie Medina, and Nicholas Medina. She also leaves to carry on an array of grandnieces and grandnephews, cousins, and extended family and friends. We are thankful to the Lord for giving us such a blessed woman on earth! She will be missed, yet always in our hearts!
