Sharon L. Johnson

Sharon L. Johnson, 63, of Greenville, Mississippi, MS, departed this life peacefully on February 13, 2026.

Born on March 18, 1962, in Greenville, Mississippi, Sharon was the beloved daughter of the late Darnell Johnson and Sarah Johnson.

Sharon was a woman of quiet strength, deep compassion, and unwavering faith. Raised in Greenville, she carried the warmth of her Southern roots wherever she went. Her life was defined by service to others.

As a dedicated Home Health Aide in the medical field, Sharon devoted her working years to caring for those in need. 

Family was the center of Sharon’s world. She was a devoted mother to her two daughters, LaKenya Rivers (Cornelius Rivers) and LaKiesha Johnson, whom she loved beyond measure. Her greatest joy came from being “Nana” of 3 grandkids and gained 2 bonus granddaughters, who brought light and laughter into her life. She also leaves to treasure her memory her loving sister, Jackie Johnson, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.

Sharon’s legacy is one of love, resilience, and selflessness. She taught those around her the value of kindness, patience, and faith through her everyday actions. Though her earthly journey has ended, the love she poured into others will continue to ripple through generations.

Viewing hours will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at New Hope Baptist Church, 1450 River Street, Hyde Park, MA 02136.

The funeral service will immediately follow from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Interment will take place at Oaklawn Cemetery, 427 Cummins Highway, Boston, MA 02131.

Sharon will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished. May she rest in eternal peace.
