With heavy hearts and deep love, we celebrate the beautiful life of Tareza Canuto Gomes, a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose presence filled every room with warmth and joy.

Tareza was the heart of her family, the storyteller and the one whose laughter could make even the hardest days a little lighter. Her home was more than just a house; it was a haven where everyone gathered, made memories, and felt truly loved. It was the place where most of her grandchildren grew up, always welcomed with open arms and a warm smile.

She loved nothing more than spending time with her family, sitting together to share stories that brought the past to life. With her pipe in hand and her spirit full of peace, she lived each day with grace, humor, and a quiet strength that inspired all who knew her.

Tareza is survived by her 3 beloved sisters, 4 children, 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren each of whom carries a piece of her love in their hearts.

Though her chair may now be empty, her love remains in every story retold, every laugh shared, and every moment of togetherness she taught us to cherish. Her legacy is one of love, family, and the beauty of a full life well-lived.

She will be forever missed but never forgotten.
