Theresa Pires Gonsalves

Theresa Pires Gonsalves, age 34, of Brockton, Massachusetts, passed away on July 13, 2026. Born on November 29, 1991, in Brockton, she was the beloved daughter of Albino Pires Gonsalves and Leonor Pires Gonsalves.

Theresa was a devoted and loving partner to Jesse Darosa. Together they built a beautiful life centered around their cherished daughter, Tessa Jade Darosa, and their beloved dog, Belle, who brought them endless joy.

Theresa earned her Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts before pursuing a career in healthcare. She found her calling as a Patient Navigator with Signature Healthcare, where she was passionate about helping others and guiding patients with compassion, kindness, and understanding. Her caring spirit touched the lives of countless patients, coworkers, and friends.

Those who knew Theresa will remember her for her generous heart, infectious smile, and ability to make everyone feel welcome. She treasured spending time with family and friends and had a gift for bringing people together. Theresa found happiness in cooking meals for those she loved, listening to music, shopping—especially "spending money," as she would jokingly say—and watching scary movies. Her vibrant personality, warm laughter, and unwavering love for those around her will be deeply missed.

In addition to her beloved daughter, Tessa Jade Darosa, Theresa is survived by her loving parents, Albino Pires Gonsalves and Leonor Pires Gonsalves; her devoted partner, Jesse Darosa; her sisters, Daniela Pires, Katia Gomes, and Melanie Pires Gonsalves; her three nieces and one nephew; and many cherished relatives, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever hold her memory in their hearts.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, July 19, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at George Lopes Funeral Home, 647 Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301.

A Funeral Mass celebrating Theresa's life will be held on Monday, July 20, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Edith Stein Parish, 71 East Main Street, Brockton, MA. Interment will immediately follow at Calvary Cemetery, Brockton, Massachusetts.

Though Theresa's time with us was far too short, the love she shared, the lives she touched, and the memories she created will remain a lasting legacy. She will be forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.
