Tia Marie Tavares

Tia Marie Tavares, of Boston, Massachusetts passed suddenly on November 21, 2022, surrounded by her family and friends. 

Loving mother, sister, aunt and friend. 

She leaves her beloved daughter Mya Marie Jones of Shrewsbury, MA. She was a caring sister to Shatese Smith Sheffield, Alicia Santana, Antone Merrill, Charles Walker and Andrew Walker. 

Loving niece to Maryann Merrill and Brenda Berry. She was a dear cousin to Kathleen, Kassandra, Armand and Alex Merrill. 

Blessed to be an aunt to ten nieces and nephews. She also leaves a host of other relatives and friends to cherish her memories. 

Predeceased by her mother Armandina Tavares, grandmother Delores Tavares and birth mother Crystal Marie Walker. 

Visitation will be held at United Church of the First Born, 715 Monponsett Street, Hanson, MA 02341 from 11-12noon. 

Celebration of Life Service will start at 12:00 PM. Private interment will be held with St. Michael Crematory.
