It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Travis Deonard Washington Jr., who departed this life on July 5, 2026, in Boston, Massachusetts, at the age of 24.
Born on October 14, 2001, in Boston, Massachusetts, Travis was the beloved son of Travis Washington Sr. and Lynda Robinson, who loved him unconditionally and will forever cherish the memories they shared with him. Travis's life, though far too brief, was one that touched the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Travis earned his General Educational Development (GED) certificate, demonstrating his determination to continue moving forward and building a future for himself. He was known for his unique spirit, his smile, and the love he shared with those closest to him. His presence brought comfort, laughter, and unforgettable moments to his family and friends. He will be remembered not only for who he was, but for the lasting impact he made on the lives of those fortunate enough to know him.
Travis is survived by his mother Lynda Robinson, his beloved siblings Wesley Robinson, Tawon Robinson, Kamari Smith, Divine Holmes, Nyasia Holme, Kiara Smith, and Keith Sloan. He also leaves behind his grandmother Christine Washington, he also is lovingly survived by his aunts and uncles, Edlina Desravines, Alvertes Desravines, Jerry Robinson, Lavar Robinson, Deonta Michael, and Kevin Washington and aunt Brandi-Buckman.
He also leaves behind those who will forever treasure the love and memories they shared with a host of uncle, aunts, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
He is preceded in death by his father Travis Washington Sr, grandfather Charles Peeples and grandmother Linda Robinson.
Though Travis's earthly journey has come to an end, his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who loved him. His family takes comfort in knowing that love never truly fades, and that the beautiful memories they shared with Travis will remain with them forever.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to celebrate Travis's life during Viewing Hours on Thursday, July 23, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m., followed by his Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m., at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, 24 Pleasant Street, Brockton, MA 02301.
As we gather to honor Travis's life, may we remember the joy he brought into our lives, the love he shared so freely, and the legacy of cherished memories he leaves behind. Though he is gone from our sight, he will never be gone from our hearts.
