Valdir Alves Centeio

With deep sorrow and heavy hearts, we announce the tragic passing of Valdir Alves Centeio, who left this world far too soon on July 12, 2025, at the age of 31. Valdir passed alongside his beloved brother, Aldino Alves Centeio, in a heartbreaking event that has shaken their family and community to its core.

Valdir was born on February 12, 1994, in Fogo, Cape Verde, to his devoted parents, Daniel and Orlanda Centeio. From an early age, he was known for his kind spirit, generous heart, and the strength he brought to those around him. 

He and Aldino shared a bond that was truly special; brothers who stood side by side in all things. Their deep connection was felt by everyone who knew them, and their absence leaves an unfillable space in the lives of those who loved them.

Valdir leaves behind a grieving family, including his parents, a host of siblings, cherished nieces and nephews, countless cousins, and extended family and friends whose lives were touched by his presence. The loss of both Valdir and Aldino has left a void that words cannot fill, but their memory will forever be a guiding light for those who loved them.

Together in life and now together in rest, Valdir and Aldino will be remembered for their loyalty, strength, and the love they poured into their family and community. Their legacy lives on in the hearts of those they leave behind.
