Vera Bowie was born on May 29th, 1945, in Mobile Alabama to the late Darnell cook Bowie and Woodrow Bowie.
Vera moved to Boston with her parents and siblings in the 1950s Vera graduated from Jeremiah e Burke High School for Girls 1961 Vera met the late Lamar Jenkins, and, in that Union, they had three children later in life Vera went to cosmetology school and pass the written and practical examination and received her cosmetology license. Vera then went on to work for Boston five Saving Bank as a bank teller and as she climbed the corporate ladder the bank changes its name to Citizen Bank, we're Vera had
Became a personal banker, until she retired Vera work in the banking business for 30 years.
Vera enjoyed traveling she has been on several cruises with family and friends she also like going to the cape and Vermont on the weekends with friends, she loves reading her Bible and telling scripture Vera also enjoy music a good movie shopping and eating good food.
Vera Bowie is survived by her daughter Adele Bowie the late Annette Jenkins and Kenneth Bowie. She leaves five brothers Edward Bowie Robert Bowie Timothy Bowie Franklin Bowie In the late John Bowie and sister Linda Riley.
Avera also leaves six grandchildren eight great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild and the host of niece's nephews other relatives and Friends and one best friend.
