Wanda Williams Obituary

Wanda Williams, the daughter of Rutha Young and the late Ulysses Williams Sr. The stepdaughter of the late Curtis Young Sr.

Wanda was born on April 25,1958 in Palatka, Florida.

Wanda moved to Boston, Massachusetts in 1969 with her mother and siblings. Wanda was educated in the Boston Public School system and graduated from the Jeremiah Burke High School. Wanda held down a few jobs, but due to very bad asthma she had to stop working at a young age. Wanda loved her family dearly and would do anything for her only daughter Stacy and her only grandson Jeff (Jefe Replay who passed away in 2022) and please let me not forget (Brody) her great-grand dog who gave her much comfort.

Wanda had a love for plants and seashells! With her green thumb she had so many beautiful plants throughout every place she lived. Whenever you walked into her place, you would either walk out with a piece of one or her telling you she would start a plant for you. Wanda had a beautiful smile and was a talker of the family that always had you laughing with whatever came out of her mouth (one thing she always said to her siblings whenever she went out to the store is “they gave me this our family don’t own 40 aces and a mule”). She loved dancing, singing, and shopping online.

Wanda leaves to cherish her memories to her dear and loving mother Rutha Young, daughter Stacy Williams, sisters Deborah Williams, Paulette Williams, Sandra Young, Carol young and Denise Young all of Boston, Massachusetts, brothers Curtis Young Jr., Kenneth Young (Kimmerly Young), and Dexter Young all of Boston, Massachusetts, step sisters and aunt Bessie Riley of Boston, Massachusetts. Wanda is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and great-great nieces and nephews, cousins, many friends and one special friend.

Wanda is preceded in death by her father Ulysses Williams Sr, grandson Jeff (Jefe Replay) Ravelo and her brother Ulysses Williams Jr.
