Yvonne Burton-Jordan was born to the late Eleanor Jardine -Burton and James Burton Sr., in Boston Ma. She was the last-born child of 4 siblings.

On August 27, 2025, she was called home to her maker. Yvonne went to Brockton High School. Where she met her husband, Samuel Jordan Sr. Our Mother was a hard worker. She provided for her 6 children, while working for Walmart for 15 years. Our mother was a very thoughtful, compassionate person. She loved her family, friends and pets with her whole heart. She was kind, generous with her time and extremely thoughtful in everything that she did. She had the ability to make anyone feel comfortable, so they could just be themselves. She taught her children to be loving, always. Our Mother had a big heart she loved to cook she was the definition of family. She would have every holiday at her house Thanksgiving dinner, Christmas Dinner, Easter Dinner, Labor Day cookout Memorial Day cook out. Definitely she celebrated all Birthdays. If she could have created a holiday to cook, she would have. Mom loved her family and friends any chance she had they were at her house. Our Mother loved to go shopping weather it was at Walmart, Shaws or the furniture store because if you know who Yvonne was, she loved to change out her furniture. She kept up with the different times.

Yvonne Jordan is survived by her 6 kids Tina Jordan Trinnette Jordan Derrick Jordan Samuel (Danielle) Jordan Dennis Jordan Tasha (Jamal) Jordan-Blackwell and bonus son Maceo Brady. 15 Grandkids and 5 Great-Grandkids. And a host of family and friends.

Yvonne Jordan is proceeded in death by her Husband Samuel Jordan Sr. Her Parents Eleanor Jardine-Burton, James Burton Sr. And Siblings Donna Burton (Sister) James Burton Jr. and Dennis Burton (Brothers).
