McWhorter, Irene in Boston on April 3, 2016. Beloved daughter to the late Irene and the late Fred Williams.

Loving mother to Anthony James McWhorter, Audrey R. McWhorter and Angela King. She was blessed to have sixteen grandchildren. She also leaves to cherish her memories her great grand children, sister Geraldine Bigby, her best friend Barbara Brown and a host of nieces, nephews family and friends.

Ms. Irene was predeceased by her son Melvin McWhorter Jr.

Visitation with family on Saturday, April 9, 2016 from 10-11AM at Metropolitian Baptist Church, 393 Norfolk Street, Dorchester, MA 02124. Celebration of Life service to start at 11AM.

Interment to proceed to Cedar Grove Cemetery, Adams Street, Dorchester, MA.
