I would like to send my prayers and condolences to the Lawson family. Mr. Robert Lawson gave me a job. I was very thankful. He paid me to clean his shop. I worked there for about seven years. You are missed Rob. Thank you for helping me and also for employing my mother Geneva McElroy. You are amazing Rob. Thanks for all of those talks and advice and all of those rides home. Thank you for also employing my sister Kim McElroy. Rest in peace Rob. By the grace of GOD we will see each other again.

It is without question, that Robert made significant contributions throughout the community which he loved as well as remained apart of. I'm very sorry to learn of the passing of my classmate Robert Lawson. As my brother, Robert stated we all grew up and graduated together. We shared a lot of memories together. May God bless the Lawson family in this their hour of bereavement.

I'm very sorry to hear about my old pal and home boy Robert Lawson. Robert and I go along way back from growing up to graduating from high school in 1963. I last talked to him about two months ago. He will deeply be missed.

I am so very sorry to hear of Robert's passing. The family has my deepest sympathy. As President of the Woodington Alumni and Friends, please let me say that it will not be the same reunion without Robert. He was the first bus driver I remember as a young girl. We will truly miss him. My prayer are with you.
